Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, scared, out of control, or just… lost? You’re definitely not alone: these are very anxious times. For LGBTQ+ people, the challenge of managing emotions can be compounded by a history of shame, trauma, and disconnection. My practice is focused on supporting queer and trans people in navigating those emotional legacies and building new forms of connection.
I also have extensive experience in working with men — gay and straight — who often feel overwhelmed by or alienated from emotions they don’t fully understand and seek help knowing what to do with them when they arise.
In a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space, you can begin the work of healing and growth with me. The issues I treat include anger, anxiety, unhealthy behaviors, and a negative relationship with the self. My clients have included adults grappling with sexuality, couples feeling trapped in a cycle of conflict, singles longing for authenticity in the modern dating culture, gay men stifled by shame, seniors navigating health scares, and parents feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of a newborn.
In all cases, I work to build a safe, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space where you can begin the work of healing and growth.
I offer virtual and in-person sessions to adults and couples. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. I wish you all the best on your therapeutic journey.
A BIT ABOUT ME
I'm a career-changer. Decades of theater experience, performing, teaching, and directing, have given me insight into the challenges faced by artists and educators. My partner Josh and I have lived and worked all across the country and are happy to call Brooklyn home.
